Maximize store profitability by increasing sales, controlling expenses, and controlling cash and inventory losses.
Ensure excellent customer service is provided by all team members.
Review sales, inventory, and payroll to measure productivity and store profitability to determine areas needing cost reduction and improvement.
Ensure team members follow safe food handling, sanitation, and industry procedures as well as other company policies and procedures.
Manage store layouts and design product displays.
Perform sales floor work such as greeting and assisting customers, cash handling, and stocking shelves.
Promote the rewards program as well as the approved merchandise or marketing programs.
Maintain a well-organized, stocked, safe, and clean work environment.
Complete store paperwork, order merchandise, and create work schedules.
Report and process all employee and/ or customer incidents or accidents following company procedure.
Work toward continuous quality improvement.
Stay current with changing technology, including software and job specific programs.
Uphold, support, and promote all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a retail management role - Strong organizational and time management skills - Ability to effectively manage a team and delegate tasks - Proficient in cash handling procedures and point-of-sale systems - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to interview, hire, and train new employees - Knowledge of market trends and ability to adapt strategies accordingly - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends Job Type:
